4PM Coffee: Back From Hiatus With A New Laptop

MSI GP62 Gaming Laptop

It's true... After almost 6 months without a main laptop, I'm finally back in business.

In June of 2016 my main Toshiba P97-A7200 laptop died it's final death (I'd resurrected it about six times previously). The laptop had been good, and lasted me four years of non-stop use.

On Monday, 17-Jan.-2017, My new MSI GP62 Gaming Laptop came in.

I demand a lot from my computers. I chose to get a gaming laptop due because they're built for power. The one I ordered has a Core i7-67700HQ processor and 32GB of RAM. It also has a solid state Operating System drive and secondary 7200 platter drive in bay 2.

It's pretty much an update version of the A7200, and I'm very happy and feel quite at home.

I run Virtual Machines on my laptop. All I had to do was copy over the virtual machines from the old laptop to the new one and I could pick up riight from where I left off too.

I've got a lot of stuff to share, so you'll be hearing more from me very soon!
